well, I am on the road to being able to order a martini just like did Scarlett Johanssen [son?] on Lost in Translation.
Last night I learned what is a dirty martini, and sort of what is vermouth, and I had "Parisien" - which I'm sure is just the casino's name for this drink - made of gin, dry vermouth, and blackberry somethin' and it was quite tasty. one step closer to manly from the cosmopolitan.
I had a sipster of my co-martini tryer's "Classique" gin martini, w/ olive, and it was not half bad! Next time, no fruity flavor! maybe a dirty martini -- no I think I better just go for it.
