So, I think it's a funny joke to sign e-mails with "chow" even though I know it's spelled "ciao" but I think the word "ciao" is supercheesy80s-winkandthegun-donjohnsongreasychesthair-openshirtgoldchains-salesperson lame-o, and "chow", to me, is like I'm saying goodbye but also "let's think about snacks," which is a more happy way to end a note/ letter.
But then I read this and now I think probably my friends just think I'm a dinkwad who doesn't know that "chow" is spelled "ciao." I still think "chow" is better, but I guess the joke's in me.
