C is for Cookies

Ok, I want to play a game: Diaryland Recipe Swap/Chain!!

So far I have this figured out:
I'll post a recipe and underneath it, a link to the recipe posted by beckers [which is where this idea comes from] -- then you post a recipe and link yours to my recipe post, or to whoever's recipe post you read these instructions from.

The only part I haven't figured out is how to know if someone put a link to your recipe so you can go to their page. Ideally, it would be cool if every recipe page was full of links at the bottom to other recipe posts. But that seems complicated. Maybe I should just forget the "swap/chain" part, put a recipe, and that'll be that.

But should it be for cake or cookies??

Cookies. Ok, here goes:
Minnie Byzitter's Cowboy Cookies
Mix in big bowl:
1 C margarine (melt it a little so it's easier to stir)
1 C white sugar
1 C brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt

Mix in different bowl:
2 C flour
2 C oatmeal or granola
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

Preheat oven to 330F

Mix bowl mixture #2 into mixture #1, a bit at a time. mix mix mix. A wooden spoon is the best mixing tool.

Dump in a bag of chocolate chips and 2 boxes of Smarties.
or
Dump in raisins or whatever you want, or nothing.

Drop spoonfuls of dough, I usually do a tablespoonful, onto greased cookie sheet.
Put in oven for about 8 minutes.
Remove cookie sheet from oven.
Let cool.
Remove cookies from cookie sheet.
Cram cookies down neck, growling a la Cookie Monster.

Also, here is the link to beckers' recipe for Apple Bread!!
